Genetic information that matters
Many genetic variants have been known for decades. The analysis of these genetic variants and the knowledge derived from the analysis can help prevent diseases and save the costs that are associated with these diseases. Nevertheless, physicians, patients and other potential customers had inadequate access to these insights – until now. Based on many years of experience in this area and the conviction of closing this market gap, Prof. Dr. med. Daniela Steinberger founded bio.logis GmbH in August 2008. FIZ supported bio.logis from the very beginning, and in August 2009 bio.logis launched its operational activities at FIZ.
